NiT GRiT - 12 Gauge & Burning Man Mix

NiT GRiT, the moniker of Danny Beall of San Francisco, must be one of the best producers of dubstep that I know of. Each track is layered exquisitely, dark ambiances hold you close while snarling distorted basslines tear you apart and the deftly placed melodies and samples on his newer material manage to put you in a strange, multi-dimensional place, emotionally. I first discovered him with song "12 Gauge"



You should be able to understand how that started the obsession. A couple months go by and I am beginning to wonder if that's the best it'll get for grimey dubstep. And then I found this. This is his mix from Burning Man 2010.
