Dubstep Trinity

This should go down well. While my opinion of dubstep is primarily disappointment, there are a few treasures out there, as always. These three tracks in particular are my favourites, you may notice similarities between them all.

The first is Alpha Centauri by Noisia, from their new album Split the Atom. What I've noticed is that alot of drum and bass producers are making an effortless shift into dubstep, which makes common sense to me really - drum and bass is like dubstep but with more drums. Another DnB producer making the jump is Nero.

While he's more famous for his remixes - from such varied artists as Chase and Status, Deadmau5, and The Streets, Nero is finally settling into his own territory and actually postponed a show in Denver this weekend because of time constraints from working on his new album. I'm definitely excited for that one. Another remix to top it all off.

NiT GriT. I still don't know why he's so unrecognized. How he managed to find this song out of the original is beyond me. Amazing stuff, he knows how to apply epicness in ways that no one else has quite figured out yet. He'll be coming into Denver next Thursday, supported by a few local acts including a friend of mine. So you can guess where I'll be.
