Definitely not the synthpop you might expect from a name like that, French Teen Idol is actually a Roman man named Andrea Di Carlo, who's music is most qualified as ambient. I would exclude this song however, which isn't so much ambient as in your face. It samples heavily from the brilliant Edward Norton in the film 'The 25th Hour'.
